If Upper Iowa and Truman tie for second, who gets the bid? Truman since they beat Upper Iowa?

All I see is that it goes to the highest positioned team in each conference, GMAC and GLVC, that doesn't make the playoffs. A head-to-head game is the straightforward way to break a tie, although teams have declined when the invitation goes out - for various reasons such as injuries or weather being played that close to Lake Michigan. It does seem like they might prefer a new fanbase/team like Upper Iowa? Anyways you could contact the GLVC for more on the criteria. The GLVC has a rule that accepting the invitation is optional for the previous year recipient team - and Truman State didn't play in the Crossroads Bowl last year (so we believe it wouldn't be optional for Truman to accept/decline if they receive the invitation), just every other year Truman repped the GLVC.

Truman will have its hands full with Tiffin.

Glad to see the team got the couple extra weeks of practice. I understood not going last year with 30+ seniors and the disappointment of not making the postseason. This year, a much younger team with a lot of upside in next couple of years, so any extra time together is a plus.

There have been 5 America's Crossroads Bowls since it was established in 2019, and Truman has now won 4 of them, with the only one it didn't win being last year when they chose not to participate. Hobart, Indiana is starting to feel like the Bulldogs' home away from home
