Why do you need to call a timeout on first down after getting a kickoff. Were they caught by surprise? Sloppy.

Jrod and West miscommunicate and what should have been an easy pass and catch for a first down results in a 4th down and a punt. Good punt though!

Pitt with the ball at the ESU 35 and the announcers " Pitt just might take a knee here and go into the half down 3." Wha Wha What? Have they ever watched a game? They are actually decent on calling the game but when it comes to general knowledge or common sense they quickly get out of their depth.

I'm only listening but sounded like Pitt was all over the place and is probably lucky to only be down 13-10. They better get their you know what together in the second half.

I did notice that either Wells, Weimers or Beck benched Sinclair at Center. Anders Vance has played the last couple of series without incident. I also like how aware he is of what is going on in the game. Seems like a field general out there. Really impressed with his brief stint so far.

Only listened to the 1st Quarter because we have Scouts r/n, but it seems like we have no rhyme or reason on playcalling. Have a good 7-8 yard run on 1st down, then two deep throws...it just seems confusing.
