It's Family Day. The black jerseys were Scott Bostwicks idea for Family day the year he was supposed to coach. After he passed away, the red decals were worn on Family day in his honor. The white helmets came in 2015 (or was it 2013???) and I assume they wore those today because it goes better with the black jerseys.

Matt Tritten beat me to it. Southern moved the ball well on their last drive with Kelly. Interesting choice to go with Patterson on the next drive. It did not work well.
