Didn't expect to do that to Washburn.

Think Schurig had the game of his life last week.

Have a night, Dom Marino: 17-23 through the air for career-high 249 yards and 4 tds, his usual good stuff on the ground, and he even had a 35 yard punt downed at the 1.

Bailey (R-Fr) has had almost 300 yards rushing the last two weeks and has shot up the MIAA rushing charts to 6th; between him and Griffith, the Griffons have some good young backs (and Donnell Hawkins, another RS-Fr., caught two TD passes out of the backfield).

Yeah, Schurig didn't play as well as he did last week, but he certainly looked the part. Give the Griffon secondary some credit for some pretty good plays back there. The pick by Dandridge on the sideline was big time. The Griffons also forced some errant throws with pressure, although they could never get the sack.

The only real negative for the Griffons was more than 100 yards in penalties for the third time in the last four weeks.

Three home games, three victories. I'll take it.

4500 on a chilly, drizzly night. Not great, but better than all but a couple of games last year.

Between the Griffons and the Huskers, I'm pretty sick of seeing yellow laundry. :smile-big:

Kyle is correct. My pic was taken early. Home stands looked to me like there was a pretty decent home crowd

I figured as much on the crowd....MW looks to be coming into stride now. That was a biitch slapping on WU.
