No it wasn't. They got punished according to published rules. They won out afterward including beating GVSU. They deserved the 2 seed accordingly.

They look pretty evenly matched thus far. NW has made some mistakes. GV touchdown when NW quarterback fumbled a shotgun snap in the endzone.
