Its’s Homecoming @ Emporia. Did they set it when NW was in town before or after RW/TS got canned?😎.

Another cool cloudy forecast. I just hope the 0% chance of rain forecast turns out to be true this week😎. Even during the light rain Saturday my weather App was still showing 0% chance of precipitation🤣.

One good result of ESU’s poor MIAA Network broadcast may be more Bearcat fans showing up😎. We plan on going rather than trying to watch the game. I imagine JMac may work on ball security a bit this week👍.

ESU seems like they're finally starting to put it together on O.

That run D is still jaw droppingly bad, so they'll have to score 45 to stay with NW.

Defense travels and has been the most consistent side of the ball. Offense has been a bit of Jekyll and Hyde. Gotta play clean, run the ball down their throat. ESU hasn't been very good against the run which plays right into our hands.

        That's putting it really kindly.

Statistically they aren't a ton worse than Hays (181) and we put 437 on them, UCM (176) and we put 358 on them, Southern (190) and we put 217 on them. WU comes in last at 238 per game and we put 246 on them. I expect them to load the box when ZO is playing and play more traditional when Ruhnke is playing.

Yeah, plenty of film out there on both now for specific adjustments to be made.

Against Pitt, they were the worst Pitt had faced. Giving up tons of big chunk plays. NW is a little different to defend. Will be fun to see what they do against the ZO's

It would be easy to overthink this as bad as they are against the run.

Will NW try to make ES run and ES try to make NW pass? 49 degrees partly sunny and 13-22 mph winds. Hope ZO is getting used to the balmy Midwest fall weather 😎

Not playing very well just through a pick. Defense is keeping us in this game.

14-7 NW @ 1/2….NW held ESU without points despite a 1st & 9 after a bad punt snap but Runke did as he does and threw an INT in the endzone again. Maddox also mishandled a good long pass inside the 5.

Did ZO get banged up against UNK or something?

34-7 NW, Johnny Macs QB decisions might continue to be confounding but he has this team rolling.
