GNAC Pick'em: Week 3

On to Week 3! This week there are 3 GNAC games. First, APU heads north to Western Oregon where there will be some tough-nosed football, no doubt. Humboldt takes its final trip to Washington to play CWU, but instead of seeing the remodeled stadium, the game will be in Yakima (let me know if you want restaurant recommendations). Finally, Simon Fraser will hopefully get back into the W column and take on our old rivals the RockHarders of South Dakota Mines.

On the bonus pick front, we have 3 games. CSU Pueblo at Colorado Mines (The wonderfully named Orediggers), TAMU Kingsville at Angelo State, and Augustana at Wayne State.

Another great chance for win for SFU as they beat the SD Mines when they were in the GNAC. Could we see them above .500 3 games into the season? My picks say yes.

The real question... will there be a video feed from Yakima for HSU@CWU. I could also easily see swx picking this game up to with it in Yakima.

I took SFU for two reasons. They are still GNAC, but more importantly they were a .500 team when they had SD Mines and Dixie State to play and get wins against. Previous history I think should play in their favor, as it is when both bolted that they couldn't get wins by beating up on both of those teams. It is part of why I've asked "did Dixie State improve that much or is the RMAC that bad" when they were middle of the pack RMAC last year.

Thanks. Went with Mines because we play them, and Kingsville and Auggie because of how close they played Commerce and Minnesota State, respectively.

Should the WSU/EWU be a pick-em too? If EWU wins (which they have done in the recent years), it would of course make CWU's loss to them look better.
