This is what I was told is being proposed to the Presidents for Approval for the 2019-2020 Basketball Season:

Midwestern St and Tarleton St
West Texas A&M and Eastern New Mexico
Lubbock Christian and Angelo
UTPB and Western New Mexico
Arkansas Ft Smith and Rogers St
DBU/TWU and TX A&M Commerce
Cameron and OK Christian
TX A&M Kingsville and TX A&M International
St Edwards and St Mary's
UT Tyler

What does this mean in regards to scheduling?

Same is it is today, you will play one team Thursday and the other team Saturday.

Except you wont play everyone twice. Not enough games for that to happen. Just a single round against everyone? That'd be 18 conference games. Men played 18 last year so that sounds about right. Every game will be important.

I could see them having the travel partners and then splitting teams into 2 divisions.

That way you play teams twice with possibly a couple of crossover games. Then a larger Conference Tournament.

Possibly a 12 team Tournament.

I would've thought that Tyler would eventually be paired with Commerce eventually.
