For bragging rights and to keep a leg up on recruiting instate this is a big game for both schools, especially now that Gonzales is at UNM and is actively recruiting the state for players, something that has been missing since Rock Long was at UNM( no shocker there as Gonzales played for Rocky).

I have been quietly impressed with the ENMU Defense lately, not an elite unit but pretty good considering the freshman and sophomores they are playing right now, bright future for that bunch.

Last thing, How does WNMU consistently have such a nice broadcast?

Haven't really been impressed with our wins. A bad Adams State team, WNMU, and an NAIA start up. However, I was very impressed with how we played vs Midwestern in a game we very well could have won! I think the way we found a way to pull it out vs WNMU is very encouraging though. Shows we will play 60 minutes and never quit.

WT has been up and down losing to Western Oregon and then beating Angelo so not sure what to expect, but GO HOUNDS win the Wheel!
