This may be the D2 football message board, but there are other sports on it too. WT Track & Field deserves some recognition. This is impressive.

For the first time in program history, both West Texas A&M men's and women's track & field teams are the top-ranked programs in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association NCAA Division II Outdoor national standings.
The Buffs jumped to first in the national rankings for the first time in program history during the outdoor season with 326.09 points. The Buffs now have 19 Top 10 national marks on the season, including three nation-leading times in the 100m, 200m and 4x400m relay.
On the women's side, WT ranked first for the third consecutive week with 288.45 total points which is 107.93 points ahead of No. 2 Grand Valley State. In total, WT has 14 national Top 10 marks while leading Division II in five events.
