  • Texas Tech v ACU

Just went into overtime. Might be the worst Tech that I’ve seen since the 80s.

I thought Colorado was going to be the last place team in the Big12.Looks like Tech might want that spot more than them after watching this game…

I’m definitely not a ACU fan but even less a TT fan. Sorry that ACU just fell short.

Tech fans are drinking their troubles away. Oh and crashed into the ACU bus.

You see one or two of these every year. A P4 team thinks they can sleepwalk through a live scrimmage against an FCS opponent. They forget that FCS teams have real athletes and are coming in with something to prove. If a team isn't engaged and ready to play, it's really hard to get that fixed during the contest.

Idaho wasn't too far from pulling an upset at Oregon, ranked #3.

I wouldn't reach too much into this for either ACU or Tech. Oklahoma State got blown out at home by South Alabama last year, and then went on to rack up another 10-win season, including beating a passel of ranked teams, including K-State, KU, and Oklahoma, as well as A&M in the Alamo Bowl. South Alabama went on to lose 6 games.

I was hoping that ACU would pull this off so Joey McGuire would be embarrassed by former players that left the program and current ones would quit on him. He has been nothing but mouth and has put an average product out there that has consistently been outcoached. Now I am rooting for an 1-11 season from them.
