Interesting. That game was the most memorable for me in all the games I have witnessed in MSU history. Probably the second most memorable was the 1993 game vs. NDSU at Mankato; though I was only able to hear the broadcast due to work at home. As I recall, the Mavs ended up winning 21-20 after trailing by 20 at halftime.

    Welcome to Football Hell :smile-big:
He said that it sucked ass for everyone. Not for us, we won. The only place I can think of with those kinds of conditions was the 2011 playoff game in St Cloud against Wayne State U. More snow at that game, less wind. And I was at both of them.

Yes, absolutely. I've seen that too.

The other thing too - I had so much coursework I had to do over Spring Break last time that I spent a good portion of the break at school studying. Either everyone else was a better student than I was and got it all done before they left, or they were in a world of hurt getting back. I'd place my bet on the latter of the two.

Generally speaking, I think those trips are paid for through taking out extra student loans. You wouldn't believe what some college students will spend that money on - then they complain about being $60,000 in the hole after graduation.

Passing this is a huge win for MSU and the Mankato community!
