    NSIC Offensive Player of the Week
    #10 Brandon Alt (QB, 6-2, 200, So., Cottage Grove, Minn. / Park HS) - Bemidji State

    - Threw for a career-high 449 yards and five touchdowns in a 38-28 win over Wayne State
    - Had the second most passing yards in BSU history and was one touchdown shy of the program single-game record
    - Averaged 16.0 yards per completion on 28-of-44 passing and threw three passes of more than 37 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown

    NSIC Defensive Player of the Week
    #18 Andrew Egnarski (LB, 6-0, 225, So., Pulaski, Wis. / Pulaski HS) - Concordia-St. Paul

    - Recorded career-highs of 11 tackles, 3.5 TFL and 3.5 sacks in a 24-6 win over Upper Iowa
    - Forced and recovered a key 3rd quarter fumble to stop UIU drive near red zone
    - The 3.5 sacks is a league game high & 5th-most in DII
    - The 3.5 TFL matched an NSIC single-game high

    NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week
    #26 Payton Eue (K/P, 5-10, 175, Jr., Champlin, Minn. / Champlin Park HS) - Northern State

    - Scored 12 points in the Wolves 30-13 victory over Southwest Minnesota State
    - Went 3-for-3 in field goal attempts with a 40-yard long
    - Averaged 53.3 yards per kickoff and 40.8 yards per punt
    - He leads the NSIC in field goals making 8-of-9
    - Is third in the league in scoring with 34 total points this season
    - Named NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week for the second week in a row

    Offense
    #9 Jarod Epperson (AUGIE)
    rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns in the Vikings 43-20 win at UMary. Epperson rushed for 123 of those yards and both touchdowns in the first half. He carried just three more times in the second half before giving way to backups. He averaged 7.5 yards per carry and tore of a long of 30 yards.

    #5 Conner Cordts (CSP) completed 20-27 for 249 yards and two TDs. He threw his first two career TD passes and completed passes to 9 different receivers. He has played turnover-free football in first two career games, completing 67.2 pct (45-67). He has completions to 13 different targets in two games.

    #11 Danny Kittner (UMary) posted double digit catches (10) and cracked the century mark in yardage (135) for the second straight week.

    #9 John Larson (UMD) finished the night with two rushing touchdowns, while also throwing for 184 yards and a passing touchdown.

    #10 Tommy Falk (MSUM) threw for a career-high 393 yards in a loss to Winona State. He completed 37-of-59 passes for two touchdowns. His 59 pass attempts set a school single-game record.

    #21 Ali Mohamed (MINOT) scored the first touchdown of the year for the Beavers, taking a screen pass 69-yards to the end zone. He accounted for 149 yards of total offense for Minot State.

    #12 Dewaylon Ingram (NSU) led Northern State with two receiving touchdowns in their 30-13 victory over Southwest Minnesota State. He scored the first NSU touchdown in Dacotah Bank Stadium, a 70-yarder from Hunter Trautman, He recorded 165 yards receiving, averaging 20.6 yards per catch. He sits tied for fourth in the NSIC in scoring wit 30 total points this season.

    #18 Adam Mullen (USF), in just his second start of his career, led the University of Sioux Falls Football Team to a 49-10 win at Minot State by throwing a career-best three TDs and 199 yards. Mullen was 18-of-22 and had TD passes of 13, 14, 18 during the win.

    #18 Owen Burke (WSU) led a come-from-behind effort by Winona State in a 27-13 Warrior win on Saturday. The senior from Lakewood, Colo. passed for 288 yards and two touchdowns, including a 70-yard bomb to Sawyer Maly to spark the Warrior comeback and lead his team to a 2-0 start to the season.

    Defense
    #59 Logan Swanson (AUGIE)
    #4 Keontay Shorter (BSU) assisted on two turnovers in 38-28 win over Wayne State. He recorded one interception and one forced fumble. He totaled four tackles, including three solo and broke up one pass.

    #32 Isaiah Pittman (UMary)#11 Austin Kurylo (UMD) #38 Kyle VanBerkom (MISU) led the Beavers with a game-high 11 tackles, including one for a loss.

    #13 Nate Robinson (NSU) led Northern State with 7 tackles in their 30-13 victory over Southwest Minnesota State. He tallied a team and game individual high 3.0 tackles for a loss. He notched
    eight loss yards on those tackles.

    #44 Joey Wehrkamp (USF) had two tackles for loss, a quarterback sack and four tackles to lead USF to a 49-10 win over Minot State on the road. Wehrkamp, who now has 22 career tackles for loss and 11 sacks, helped hold MISU to 10 points and 94 rushing yards on 32 carries for 2.9 yard avg.

    #37 Mitch Snitker (WSU) racked up nine solo tackles and added two assists for total of 11 stops against MSU Moorhead. Snitker led the WSU defense in holding the Dragons to 13 points on the day.

    Special Teams
    #23 Luis Guarita (AUGIE)
    went 2-of-2 on field goal attempts and 5-of-5 on point after attempts. After tying the school record for made field goals in a season in 2019, Guarita got his 2021 season off to a solid start (missed opener) with a 2-for-2 effort with field goals from 16 and 29 yards.

    #32 Parker Dahlman (CSP) produced an NSIC single-game high 47.3 punting average on seven punts. He had a pair of punts of 50-plus with a 56 yard long. He ranks second in the NSIC with a 42.2 season average after first two career games. He pinned the Peacocks to drive start inside 30 yard line on 5 of 7 punts.

    #34 Marcus Shepley (UMD) posted an impressive 233 yards on six punts. His performance included a punt which was downed inside the 20-yard line as well as a punt of over 50 yards (52 yards).

    #26 Dillon Fedor (MINOT) kicked his first collegiate field goal, a 20-yarder, and added an extra point for his first collegiate points.

      Well not a good start for UIU. Chances are if you play Upper Iowa you increase your odds of getting player of the week.
