Dragons have taken a number of risks that have not gone their way. Jack Strand is as good as advertised in his passing game and decision making. Casey Bauman is playing lights out. Jarod Epperson on !st play ran a 53 yard TD. 21-6 Vikings lead.

Winona with a long run with awful tackling from the Wolves gives Winona a 19-3 lead. Wolves answer with a very long Haskins run folled by a 20 yard TD pass from Vespo to Larson. 19-10 Winona

        Zero discipline for the Wolves

INT UMD. Tipped pass. From my perspective not the worst placed ball ever, but still.

          20-0 UMD

Statistically, Martin has been better than Walljasper in this game. I think the UMD QB is waking up some now, but I'll be interested to see the final stats from both.

Long drive for Winona ending with a Wolves stop on a reverse pass on 3rd down. Warriors go for it on 4th and goal and get stuffed.

Another SMSU redzone 3rd down stop, another UMD field goal.

Is it just me, or is this game bizarre?

                23-0 UMD

Wow... what a pass from Martin. Should have been a sack for a big loss, but moved the chains instead.

UMD immediately gets their sack on the next play. 2nd and 20.

                  Just strange.

Stangs go for it on 4th and 19. Another tipped ball interception, though this one was not placed well at all.

UMD penalty backs them up to the 12 yard line.

Probably more effective than punting, I guess?

I tuned in for a bit during MSU halftime fully expecting the older guy from years previous, that guy was a full trip. Caught the play where #0 made the tackle and his helmet came off while already engaged, but not finished. They did a good job of being very impartial on it.

I've never watched a game where I've been so satisfied with my defense, but absolutely dumbfounded by the offense.

The score may not tell that tale, but it's really the offense giving up opportunities and points to UMD.

Coo finally breakthrough with 3mins to play in the 3Q. Lead 7-0.

Mullen relieves Dean and the Coo offense starts to click a little better, admittedly mostly in the ground game. Mullen finds Jaelon Taylor for a TD pass that honestly probably shouldn’t have found Taylor but did and the Bob collectively breathes a sigh of relief for the time being.

Glad they picked that one up after discussing. Not a thing you can do when you are making a tackle and your helmet comes off. Wish they'd discussed the safety call.

Winona isn't all that impressive but certain more disciplined and that is sometimes all it takes

Another 3rd down stop deep in SMSU territory, another UMD FG

                              26-0

This game is quite wild to think it's real
