Minot State at Sioux Falls (-30.5)
    Minnesota State-Moorhead at Augustana (-16.5)
Northern State at Winona State (-6.5)
Minnesota-Duluth (-24.5) at Southwest Minnesota State
    Concordia-St. Paul at Minnesota State-Mankato (-32.5)
    Bemidji State (-27.5) at Mary
Wayne State (-20.5) at Missouri S&T

Northern at Winona is the most interesting game of this week. I expect a low scoring affair in Winona. The Wolves figured some things out last week against a bad Mary team, we'll see if they can carry that over against a much better opponent.

The other interesting game for me this week is Moorhead at Augie. I expect Augie to slow down the Dragons passing game and I don't think Moorhead will be able to slow down the Augie offense, but the Augie offense hasn't been super impressive so far this year.

I picked Winona only because they are the home team, could easily envision a 24-21 type game. Perhaps a breakout game for Ian Marshall.

Augustana's league leading scoring defense faces their 1st big test in Moorhead's QB Jack Strand who has a plethora of excellent receivers to throw to. The ***** in MSUM armor is undersize lineman in both OL and DL. Augie has a very large two deep OL and may try to run on the Dragons to keep Strand on the side lines.

Wayne States non conference against Missouri S&T who lost by 12 to UIU and is 0-3. I expect the Wayne Americans to take the Miners to the wood shed for an old fashioned beatdown. Hope those MIAA folks aren't watching and scheming to pilfer Wayne America from the NSIC.

If the game is played in the rain as expected I fear Northern won’t pull this out as they can’t run the ball against a good defense. Weak spot on the offense is certainty the Oline. Winona has a good defense and if we are one dimensional it’s over.

on the other hand, decent weather and I think Northen pulls out a fairly easy win.

Field might be wet, but (atleast on my app) it doesn't look like rain during the game

Start time pushed back to 1:30 due to lightning in area and letting field dry.

Mustangs give up a big return and a bigger flea flicker. But get a beautiful third down stop.

                  FG is good. 3-0 UMD

Duluth tries an onside kick, completely taking SMSU off-guard.

                    Ouch.

Mustangs with another huge stop on 3rd down, aided by a big holding call against UMD.

                      UMD 6, SMSU 0

SMSU fumbles on a big completed pass at their own 40, then stops UMD on 4th and 4.

SMSU fumbles again in their own territory.

Donny Austin was fired up on the bench. Maybe the loudest I've heard anyone yell in this stadium
