It should be an unsportsmanlike penalty when your fans sit in their cars and blow horns during a D2 Football game. Only in Rapid City.

I agree. They even have done it on third downs before and gotten away with it.

I think it makes for one of the most unique atmospheres in all of football. Plenty of Chadron cars honking their horns while SD Mines had the ball as well. I love it, and I"ll be back every two years Chadron plays in this stadium.

Not sure that compares as offenses simulate snap counts use motions etc to get guys to jump offsides. It's more annoying than anything in my opinion. But heck if artificial noise is ok then maybe we'll just start blaring sirens over the loudspeakers. After plays is fine not during is what I'm saying.

Heck, just get a couple of semi trucks to park there and let them unleash their air horns every time tech does something positive.. Maybe give them a free Philly Teds cheesesteak for the effort.
