Adams State at Chadron (-22.5): Hanging Chads have scored 38 points for the entire season (somewhere, Brian Ferentz is laughing at that stat), while A-ams "best" defensive outing was in a 38-0 loss to Western

CO Mines at Mesa (-18.5): Average margin of victory in Mines' last four wins vs. Mesa: 39 (52-0 last season, 48-21 in 2022, 56-20 in 2019 and 72-31 in 2018, though Mesa snuck in a 26-21 win in 2021 in the middle of that five game stretch)... I could see Mines narrowly covering this one (about 20-24 MOV)

Highlands at Pueblo (-39.5): Pueblo 14-1 vs. Highlan-s since the Thunderwolves rebooted the program in 2008... Pueblo wins easily, but barely fails to cover (35-38 point MOV)

Black Hills at SD Mines (-6.5): Mines gave up 33 to Fort Lewis last week, while Black Hills surrendered just 7 to FLC earlier this year... it's been a back and forth rivalry series, but I can see BHSU covering and winning outright to avenge last season's loss to Mines at home

Fort Lewis at Western (-38.5): Bye week for Western, though Fort Lewis' defense hasn't been as putrid this season (I know that's not saying much, but still)... Average WCU MOV in last four games vs FLC: 42

        Bonus

Slippery Rock (-1.5) at IUP: I could see SRU winning by 7 in a tightly contested rivalry game... SRU 6-4 over IUP in last 10

Duluth (-3.5) at Augustana: Only four of the last 11 games - all won by Duluth - have been one-possession games (8 points or less)

Some interesting lines this week. I think Chadron's defense easily stuffs ASU, but their offense simple isn't potent enough to cover that spread. I'm fully off the SD Mines train and think that BHSU wins outright. NSIC seems like there's a ton of parity and it's anyones game - I'll take the home team. Really don't know about the PSAC situation so I'll take the team with more big game experience.

Adams State at Chadron (-22.5) Chadron to win, but not convinced their vapid offense can score enough even on Adams awful D to cover this. Chadron by 14.
CO Mines at Mesa (-18.5) The O is back in sync enough to cover. Mesa's low wattage O won't close the gap. CSM by 24.
Highlands at Pueblo (-39.5) Score fest against the second weakest D in the RMAC. Pueblo by 42.
Black Hills at SD Mines (-6.5) Smelling an upset since SDSM tends to underperform at home.
Fort Lewis at Western (-38.5) WSU to just barely cover when FLC gets a few scores during garbage time.
Slippery Rock (-1.5) at IUP No idea. Just going with the home team.
Duluth (-3.5) at Augustana Same as above.

Adams- don't think Chadron can score enough to cover. Their D is legit though.
Mesa- They showed last week at home, but Mines has struggled mightily on the road this year. This is a prove it game for me.
                        CSUP
BHSU - Coming off the blowout last week and in a rivalry game I think they get right
WCU - Western is just too much for FLC but FLC is trending the right direction.
IUP - Taking the home team for a line this close.
Duluth - Common opponent of Moorhead beat both by a combined 3 points. Duluth beat Mary by a much larger margin so transitive property of football, right?

Down goes Mines, they're lucky to not have 3 losses on the year already. Can't believe they couldn't just line up and run the ball on Mesa, Landon Walker basically non-existent today. Their playoff hopes in the balance as they still have Pueblo and Western on the schedule.
