XFL & USFL Plan To Merge

The XFL and USFL both have teams in Houston, so one of them will either move, fold or combine the two.

They've decided to go with eight teams. Four from the XFL (Arlington Renegades, San Antonio Brahmas, St. Louis Battlehawks and Washington "DC Defenders") and four from the USFL (Birmingham Stallions, Houston Gamblers (which will have members of the Houston XFL team as well), Memphis Showboats and Michigan Panthers). And the name of the new league is the UFL (United Football League) which has been used before, a couple of times I think. Good luck to the new UFL, they'll need it!
