Neither grounding call was valid. You can't have grounding when the trajectory of the ball is altered because of a defender hitting the QB while throwing....

But if that was what they were instructed to do, it's a dumb coaching decision. You're getting the ball back with a chance to win....

If something doesn't improve, we're looking at really tough games against Michigan Tech and SV, and not even being competitive against Ferris.

I didn't see it, but my guess is a lineman probably tried to pull a blocker out of the way to allow another defender to come through for a potential block....

Oh my god. GV commits a penalty on the field goal on 4th down to give an automatic first down to lose it. This is outrageous.

And they lose the game because the GV DL jumps offsides AGAIN on 4th down. Just so disheartening how undisciplined they are.

GV now out of timeouts after wasting that early one because they couldn't get the offense set up in time, for some reason, after a long incomplete pa...

GV DL had been dominating most of the game, and now they're getting pushed around pretty easily, unfortunately.

And Schuster throws a pick when he had an easy first down if he tucked the ball and ran. Disappointing....

I'm so confused. They called it again on 4th down. You can't get intentional grounding when the ball trajectory is altered by the QB getting hit. Unless...

The OL just all got absolutely bulldozed on 3rd down, GV has to punt. They need a stop here.

They just called us for intentional grounding, when you can't have intentional grounding when the pass is altered by a defender hitting the QB.
