I let a good friend know about your PM before answering, as I couldn't see a dignified way of responding the way I really wanted to respond, which was harsh and sharply profane.
I know there are those with attitudes like that, and yet they cheer through their bigotry. One of the things I have heard several times is that black linemen are not as good as white linemen because they are not as disciplined, and my head spins at the lunacy of the comment (Upshaw, Dotson, etc..). Of course, those comments are from old geezers on the verge of senility. It used to be quarterbacks. My parents were born in the 1920's, so they had the era's residual attitudes; they had quite the challenge dealing with my friends, who were very often black or brown, but their attitudes did soften a great deal when they got to know my friends.
