NCAA Division 2 athletics is my favorite collegiate division. The division does not have the high quality of athletes as Division I, but the division makes up for it with the quality of true student athletes that represent their respective institutions of higher education. You can go to games and not have to sit so far away from the playing surface that you need a huge video board to see the basketball court. The posts on this board are not written from professional sports writers, though some possess the ability to be professional sports writers. I do have a background in sports writing where I worked as a sports editor of a newspaper in western Kentucky, and as a founding publisher of a sports weekly that went bankrupt. So....
