In response to your question, I'm not exactly sure. I live in southern Minnesota, but in talking to a couple guys who live up there, it has driven land prices and the cost of doing business up. Kind of like what the wind tower projects have done around here. Lots of speculators buying land and putting towers up, forcing the price of land higher. I believe the economy has also driven land prices, since land will never be worthless, like stock in a company can be. Sorry I can't help you more.
