Comment: Not sure how Shippensburg isn't ranked let alone not receiving any votes.
Not in the region, but since you mentioned Nova SE, did anyone see the tweet of the cheap shot one of their players took the other day?

We had a similar situation here back in (around) 2002. Power forward from Finland (I think) went home for XMAS break and never came back. It was like his 3rd or 4th year in the program, too. Fannar Olaffson. Good player. Total nutcase.

Kovac is a nice player. He had 13 pts and 16 boards up here against IUP this year.

It's a good time to play down there. IUP went down there around the same date last year. Students are all gone. Very mild crowd.

WVW has it in them to be a good team. Motivation seems to be an issue. Man-for-man, ... they are loaded. However, their record sucks.

The Top 25 carnage continued last night. No. 10 Ashland got crushed, 99-69, by Lake Superior State. In the nightcap, No. 4 UC San Diego lost at home, 81-73, to Chico State.

That's (8) Top 25 teams with a loss this week before the weekend.

Several teams expected to be pretty good this year on the men's side are off to less than stellar starts.

These teams better get things turned around quick (some: REAL quick) if they still want a dance ticket in March (with 8 losses being the usual magic number):

    Virginia Union (5-4)
    Virginia State (5-4)
    East Stroudsburg (4-3)
    Slippery Rock (4-3)
    Bowie State (4-5)
    Concord (3-5)
    Kutztown (3-4)
    Millersville (3-4)
    Shepherd (3-4)
