WCU fell short, falling behind Tampa 6-0 through four innings and eventually losing 8-4.

They opened at Harford CC (a really nice ballpark) against IUP on Feb. 20, a late start for most PSAC clubs. But then they did make the southern swing...

About the only team to have had WCU's number was Ship, which took three of four from them. But they're down 5-1 to Texas-Tyler in the third today....

I'll freely admit that I was today years old when I learned of the existence of a Monroe University. It's in NYC, not far from Fordham. Unless I'm reading...
