Darcie is a tough hombre ... she'll whip them boys' behinds if they don't listen. She's a good coach. SRU should have never let her leave when she took the Cal job. Rest is history.

I think that's taking the wrong approach here. There is nothing wrong at all with a coach wanting to pull back and work "down" a few levels. Coaches at the higher levels no doubt get burned out badly and they should be lauded for their willingness to want to share their vast knowledge of the game with the younger players who will be tomorrow's stars. I applaud her and any coach who continues to ply their craft once the bright lights fade away. Former IUP coach George Chaump comes to mind for me. He had some big coaching jobs and then returned to the high school level to finish out his career. What lucky young men those were to have an opportunity to work with someone of his pedigree.

Just a snippet of that history... DV's hairstyle has certainly changed but I suspect her coaching style hasn't. Those boys will get an earful.
