The winning scenario for CALU is to win at MC on Wednesday and match SHU with 8 wins. This presumes that UPJ takes care of business versus SHU. Having swept SHU, thanks to CORDELL SMITH'S buzzer beater, the VULCANS would secure the sixth spot. That is actually pretty amazing considering where they were at the start of the season. Win or lose, KENT MCBRIDE earned his check this year for sure

Cal looked great in the first half and the first 10 minutes of the second half ... and then it all went downhill. Cal blew a 12 point lead with under 9 minutes to play and then blew an 8 point lead in overtime. Poor foul shooting and turnovers killed the Vulcans tonight. Now, the Vulcans must pull the impossible off on Saturday and beat IUP at home in order to make the playoffs.

Nice win by Gannon. Matt Dogan leads GU from down eight and makes the big plays in the closing seconds. I swear that Gannon is at its worst with a big second half lead. Nice to see us pull of the comeback.

What happened at UPJ? 48-20 at half?
