      Arguably the weakest overall the NSIC has been in years. At least coaches poll-wise.

      At least during Augie's 2014-2016 stretch, Moorhead was right there with them near the top. Right now, Minot is the closest thing to a Top 25 team we have. Of course, if Mankato keeps winning, they'll be getting votes sooner than later, I'd imagine.

        Unless I was reading the NWMO St stats wrong, it looks like Joey Witthus is scoring over ten points a game for the Bearcats.

          10.4/game. 38.6% from the field and 32.3% from 3 point range. Also played some good defense. It's good to have another 6-7 wing/post defender on the floor. He has been a nice addition for NW.

            It seems one or two early losses can wipe out a team's chances of appearing in the polls for the remainder of the season. I'd probably put MSU, USF, SMSU right up there with Minot, but that probably won't happen unless one of them runs off a 10-game win streak or something.
