Don't know if already discussed, but I heard on the pre-game of the WSC game tonight that there has been a change in the hosting of first round matchups for the NSIC Tourney.
If I heard correctly (someone correct me if I'm wrong), the teams are still seeded and paired like they always have been (top 4 in one division match up with the bottom four from the opposite division) in the first round, however, if the "higher seeded" team has a better league record than the lower-seeded team, that team would host.
Example: if the matchup in the first round is #4 Bemidji State vs. #5 Wayne State, normally Bemidji would host. But this year, if BSU had a 14-8 league record and WSC had a 15-7 league record, WSC would host that matchup.
