Wouldn't say afraid, but not excited. Both games have been quite similar.

Nope, but seen enough of Kirk, Moen and Bruggeman. Tough 3-some.

They were the scariest matchup of them all, both times. Idk what it is.

Northwest Oklahoma up one at the half of their GAC quarterfinals today, 33-32 over Southern Arkansas.

#8 Northwest Oklahoma moves to 22-6 overall with their 10th straight victory, advancing on in today's GAC quarterfinals. This doesn't seem to bode too well for Central Oklahoma and Washburn, who may have each needed to advance one round further than NW OK to jump them in the regional rankings.

I'm not sure they would have to get further. If NW Oklahoma loses in the semis it will likely be to East Central. If those MIAA teams lose in the semis it will be to Northwest Missouri or Missouri Southern.

Agree with the thinking, but remember, they aren't currently even in the ranking. So something needs to happen to pass.

Now Washburn should reach the finals and lose to NW. Final rankings in region could be interesting.

Possible SMSU could jump them again to # 4 -- not that it really matters if they are the 4/5 or 5/4. Matchup the same either way

I'm guessing we are looking at a regional 4/5 matchup between SMSU and St. Cloud State. Seems kind of unfortunate but things like this happen in a seeded tourney of three conferences. Missouri Southern and Fort Hays met in the first round of the regional in Mankato a few years back. Then Southern advanced to play Central Missouri in the semis.

At this point I'd take a 6 or 7 seed and face off with Southern Nazarene or Northern State and take our chances.

Good point, the SCSU win over MSSU could come into play.

Along with a Mankato win over MSSU.
