  • NSIC all-time scoring leader

I believe that after Saturday nights 42 point game against Bemidji, Gage Davis displaced Dan Jansen as the NSIC's all time leading scorer. Going into the season Jansen was at 1521 and Gage was at 1349. So far this season he has scored 193 points putting him at 1542 total. I think that the amazing thing is that he has done this in fewer games that everyone else in the top 15, other than Dan Hagen who played at SCSU from 1977-1981. Hagen scored his 1329 in 64 games.

Gage Davis SCSU 1542 71 games
Dan Jansen Augie 1521 88 games
Tyler Rudolph Minot 1494 88 games
Cameron McCaffery Augie 1455 86 games
Cody Schilling Augie 1394 84 games
Joe Hasz Crookston 1389 72 games

    Re: NSIC all-time scoring leader

I could be totally missing something, or else you are. First, I couldn't believe he had only played 71 games thus far. So I looked up stats from this year and the past three seasons. I'm finding 101 games played thus far and 2,105 total points for Gage Davis.

Also, can't believe all those guys you mentioned played less than 90 career games each (or that the former career scoring mark was only 1,521).

Am guessing this is maybe talking about scoring in league games only???

And who Bill Gross continued to claim 2 things about.
            A) SCSU cheated to get him into school
            B) somebody at SCSU was doing his work to keep him eligible

And he will almost assuredly be passed by Harrison Cleary next season, as he has 1,237 points in 52 career games.

Davis also recently moved into the Top 5 in career rebounds.

                  2. Alex Novak, MSU Moorhead (2009-12) 802 in 86 games
                  3. Tyler Rudolph, Minot State (2015-18) 696 in 88 games
                  4. Carter Kirk, SMSU (2015-18) 641 in 87 games
                  5. Gage Davis, St. Cloud State (2016-Pres) 616 in 71 games
                  6. Casey Schilling, Augustana (2012-16) 614 in 78 games

Better stat would le show some efficiency number as well... for example, I bet Cleary will have significantly more shot attempts then some of the other guys in top ten list.
