His wife is from this immediate area and she has family in this area ... so I'm hoping that will keep him here. I definitely want to see him stay here a long time!

I only meant hypothetically if he were fired or left. I assumed he married someone from down there as in most cases...we always seem to end up closer to the wife's family, haha
