I don’t particularly feel guys Mac recruited to NW that wouldn’t have came here classify as ours… they would’ve have been great here though. My vote is to not have a separate Iowa thread next season… lolLast edited by Alfred33; 04-05-2025, 09:05 PM.

Both of their X pages claim to be coaches with Iowa basketball. I doubt they’d make that claim if they haven’t been asked or if it hadn’t been agreed upon. The university probably just hasn’t announced it yet. That doesn’t mean that either one couldn’t be offered another position and end up somewhere else before season starts, but it looks like they’re both following BMc at this point.

Iowa, right now, is very undersized… seeing what Tech did to Drake has to be a concern. They could use some shooters too. The kid that entered the portal but stayed can shoot a little, and Howard might become one, but the roster looks a little light thus far.

Ben McCollum shows up at the Iowa Hawk Nests tailgate for a Iowa Hawkeyes baseball game and throws out the honorary first pitch for Saturdays game on April 12.
The link below will send you to the video on the Hawk Central sports section of the Des Moines Register. You may have to put up with a short ad. Don't forget to 'click' on the volume. Good crowd shows up to get their picture taken with Coach Mac. Love it when he takes the mound.
