With Duluths automatic bid we will see a 2 bid NSIC.

I am thinking we will see a 2 bid GAC and 4 bid MIAA unless SNU or Harding wins the GAC and steals a 3rd spot for the GAC.

The GAC getting more bids than the NSIC would be the greatest shame in our conference's history.

Someone wrote, "the NSIC sucks" earlier this week and I meant to quote it and say, "You clearly haven't been watching the GAC tournament"

Too bad THAT's already happened. 4-1 GAC in 2020. Or was 2019 worse when the GAC schools swept NSIC schools?

I figured it had happened at some point or another. It was a joke.

Sincerely asking (because I don't have the record book or anything), has any GAC team made it to the Regional Championship game in the past 5-10 years?

Northwest Nazarene, coached by current CentralMO head coach Adam Bohac, beat NorthwestMO in the semi-finals before losing to Duluth in the 2023 regional final.

your thinking of southern* Nazarene. That team that Bohac had was special 3 guys transferred up D1 and they had 7 or 8 seniors on that team with most of them being guys who were at D1 programs and transferred down to SNU.

My mistake. My son coached soccer in the GNAC a few years ago and Northwest Nazarene is in that conference so I guess that's why that direction popped into my head.

Yep, Southern Nazarene in 2023 is the only time it's happened since the regions changed before the 2012-13 season.

I said what I said. What if everyone outside of Washburn sucks?

This is what I've been trying to get across in that Division II as a whole is not what it was 10-20 years ago. I think we will see a few programs of power stay at the top like Washburn has done, but the overall level of play is likely going to stay lower.
