Sunday, I witnessed a fan at the pro-am who had lost all self control and I was reminded of how bad fan behavior had become before the pandemic. It has been well publicized that many parts of the country are experiencing a shortage of referees because of fan behavior.
Fan behavior at NBA games this season hasn't been good either. Some examples: the fan that dumped popcorn on a players head, others who spit on players, threw things on the court, etc.
Unruly fans who constantly and loudly berate the officials should have their antics recorded and shown on the arena's video board so they can see the ugliness everyone else sees. These people who criticize the refs are wrong most of the time and yet people have to listen this BS.
Here's something for these "Fans" to consider: Are you sure the idol you have created in your mind is worth making yourself look like a fool?
