G-MAC schools are building a great conference. I do not mean Ws and Ls I mean a great conference of class, respect and growth developing young adults.

CU women are going to Nationals (down here in Tampa Bay area). Well done ladies!!

BTW - the Hillsdale ladies will be there too. G-MAC or future G-MAC schools took 2 of the top 5 and 4 of the top 10 places at Regionals.

Didn't get to go, but I watched the broadcast! Cedarville takes it 3-0. They will probably meet again in the conference finals in a few weeks! Great atmosphere at CU! Their students are fantastic!

Cedarville Men and Women both 5-peat as G-MAC XC Champions. The Women were favored to win, but the Men pulled an upset win over favorite Malone (on Malone's home course).

    Go Jackets!

Thanks good info. Again great to have players return. I do think putting up part of a roster hurts the school and the G-MAC. I see some schools, at first , only put up returning players I guess that is okay.

That isn't the complete basketball roster. I guess he starts working on it (that being the SID) and adds to it but has it available to the public. He did that with the basketball schedule this summer and we added some games later on. Mitchell is not a freshman but a junior. One of the guys on that roster I don't even think is in school. The freshman aren't going to be put up yet. There is going to be some redshirting. Who gets redshirted will depend on practice. Sanar and the Sanders kid (JUCO) are upperclassmen that will back up at PG. The battle in my opinion for that spot comes down to Butler and Reggie Robinson. There are several freshmen that will play a lot. Practice begins tomorrow so Zimmerman is going to make decisions based on that and scrimmages. As far as size, this is the most size we have had since Dodd days. A lot of length and athleticism.

One player will miss the first seven games due to an academic issue. He may never play for us if he can't start figuring the whole process of student-athlete out. Pictures haven't been done yet nor have bios. I wouldn't put too much stock in this early roster.

A lot of former players work on master's degrees at WVU while serving as assistants here. WVU has a master's degree in both athletic coaching and in athletic admin. Malcolm wanted to play overseas but the right thing didn't work out. He brings a lot as a mentor to two young PGs. Ron graduated with a PE major. Tobias graduated and works on a master's in teaching certification because he wants to go back to Alabama and coach high school ball. They basically get free room and board to coach....a chance to get some experience....and travel up the road to get their master's degree.

The original Warning from the SACSCOC expired after two years. The college was placed on Probation this past summer after another review by the SACSCOC. Kentucky Wesleyan is hoping to come off this Probation after this semester when the college is reviewed again. KWC recently got a three million dollar contribution to go into the endowment fund. The college has raised money. It's possible that the review committee takes the college off of any possible sanctions. That is what the Wesleyan President has said earlier in the semester when this was on the news. Whether that happens or not is up to the SACSCOC. An institution can remain on Probation for two years. If after two years the institution does not show significant improvement in the review areas with real sustainability proof, the institution can then lose accreditation.
