They would shoot too many 3s. Need Isiah, 3 Birds and Wilt to have a punchers chance.

It would be perfect time to bring in a new coach. The new arena would attract some really good candidates.

Jm was so upset with WoD after last year missing the tourney again he fired the girl that coached soccer. After this years flop by WoD he will probably flex his muscle and force a women's tennis assistant coaching change.

Alphabet Bennett knows nothing about Athletics so JMH gets to call all of the shots...we're stuck with Wodson!

Note to jm. Teams playing for title today have young and hungry coaches. Usi couldn't beat either one game in a best of 3 , 5, or probably 7. these guys coaching as the past title
Coaches wouldn't sit and let the SIU system teabag them once. Let alone 4-5 times

Both of these teams are far better than any team in our league. Getting a little old hearing that the Midwest Regional is stacked, or the GLVC is the best league in the country. Truth is the GLVC is getting worse every year, and our program is miles away from being nationally competitive.

What gets old is hearing about the demise of the GLVC every time one of our teams doesn't play for the title. These two teams are the two best in the country, you could say the same thing about any league they aren't in. And while Northwest is very, very good, the MIAA was a one bid league this year. The GLVC had at least 4 teams that were better than the second best team in the MIAA. Heck Missouri Southern got 4th in that league this year and the worst Drury team in 10 years beat them in a game that wasn't close.

The GLVC made the Elite Eight (again) and the Final Four this year. Time to get a grip.

The GLVC is down from where it was because USI isn't a national power with Rod at the helm, Drury had a bad year, and Indy didn't figure out how to play until the second semester. It still has as many good teams at the top of it as any D2 league in the country.

Wow made e8 again. A 50/50 proposition. The gmac is a joke. Drury wasn't part of the 11 consecutive title games so of course they think Maryville bill Jewell broke state Springfield old man Harry's retirement greeter style job at Lebanon is a great league. The gliac is weak too and is imploding.

Those days are gone and they ain't coming back.

You don't have to make the title game 11 years in a row, or not have any bad teams in your league to be a good league. You seen the bottom of the MIAA or the Mountain East? Every conference has their versions of William Jewell and Springfield.

And no, Drury wasn't a part of 11 consecutive title games, but Drury and Bellarmine are the only two GLVC schools to win a national title since the ethically challenged Harper and Pearl moved on (or got moved out).

We had 1 good team in Bellarmine and the rest were average or worse.
