CWU has a senior walk-on whose only HS experience is playing JV in his junior year. He came to CWU and played intramurals and pick up games in the rec center with the CWU players. Every year the coach holds an open try out. Last year he tried out but didn't make it. So he tried again this year and made the team.

Excellent story, guessing since he was a long jumper/high jumper/triple jumper in high school, he probably has decent hops.
