WOU at CWU is intriguing as it pits the GNAC's top scoring team, CWU, against the conference's top defensive team in WOU. Something has to give. CWU leads the GNAC in 3-point percentage; WOU leads the conference in 3-point percentage defense. What a great matchup.
Unlike the last two years when WOU had the West Region players of the year in Omlid and Avgi, there's no superstar on the Wolves this year, though a lot of good players. CWU is the same way, no big scorers, but lots of good players.
Not many other top games in any of the three leagues tonight, though CCAA leader UC San Diego at Chico is intriguing. Chico is down this year, but they're always tough.
* Tuesday game almost slipped by me, St. Martin's blew out a good SPU team, 80-63. The Saints are awesome this year.
