  • CWU to Face off with Coleman Sparling

Tonight in Fairbanks CWU faces former-Wildcat Coleman Sparling for the first time. In his final college season he is averaging 9.8 points and 7 rebounds per game. He will be interesting to see Coach Greg Sparling coaching his son against CWU.

Sparling hauled down 15 rebounds and Barnard hit 7 three's as UAF edged CWU in OT 97-95. When Sparling hit his free throws late in the game he was pretty fired up. That win has to feel good for him and his dad

First league win of the year for Coach Sparling, who frankly is not doing a good job this year. I know covid has caused problems but he has a lot of talent and they are sucking. It's not like they were great this game, they gave up 95 points, but congrats on getting his first league win.
