Also not bothering to read the fine print, but if Universities are placing AAU coaches, I have to imagine it improves the quality of coaching kids are getting during that time of year. Are schools going to be able to make extra cash for the Athletic Departments by running pay-to-play club ball?

I don't have X, could someone give me the Cliff Notes here? I saw some of it, microscopic print, too. Sorry.

Regarding WOU, I'm not sure what their strategy/program vision is, so it probably won't affect anything. As long as we can keep the average fan out of the loop and wondering what's going on (besides losing all the time), they're good with that. I seriously don't get it. I think we've signed some players, wish they'd do stories on it. Oh well, getting used to this with the top secret coaching staff.

Yeah that applies to (checks notes)…ummm college recruiting? We must not give college scholarships like the lions and the bears do! Only the muskox contact recruits in September or have them for a visit! Or put them on a July college sponsored travel team!

The tweeter is also a AAU coach…seriously. AAU basketball has done more damage to our game that any single organization. If this disrupts the way AAU functions as well? Double win.

Id much rather these kids travel with their high school coach or a college coach so they get real basketball in the summer and not just a bunch of rag tag play. The will learn a lot more and become much better players in the long run.

Don't like the changes because without rules we live like animals.

It essentially is eliminating most rules around recruiting at the D2 level.

I don’t agree with what the tweeter is up in arms about…these old coaches that can’t accept change crack me up.

But yeah it’s going to drastically change D2 recruiting which is pretty much going to be the Wild West at this point but I’m ok with that. The needless and pointless restrictions and calendars were clearly not working anymore.

if a school want to run a prep summer travel, I’m ok with that. Why do we only have certain windows you can contact kids? I’m glad things are getting opened up as I’m not a fan of having rules just to have rules.
