I understand why kids move from school to school. But I don't get is small college players looking for something that is what,, an NBA contract? I don't think that's happening. I don't get not wanting to establish college friendships, and connecting with professors and others at college, who can actually get you great internships and jobs.

That said, it's up to the coaches to put together a quality team so they can have their program win. I'm not big on running guys off but if you continually are awful and your job is in jeopardy, you need to do something. I do think players have the right to go to another school without having to sit out.

But at the higher level when NCAA division 1 football teams are constantly tampering on other people's rosters roster ayers leave for seven figure Nils, I think they need to owe the money to the school that took the player from. It makes no sense for a school to recruit and sign a player develop them, put all kinds of money into that player just so he can go to another school. The Big Sky Conference is feeling this really bad right now with schools tampering on their rosters and giving kids six-figure to seven-figure deals. I'm old school, I actually prefer the way College athletics used to be and that was not professional. If I want to watch professional, I turn on the Seahawks.

As for the women, that is a very impressive feat. After their first round loss in the conference tournament, I was not expecting this. Unfortunately, Dominguez Hills looks super good as they took care of Alaska Anchorage pretty easily. It would be a Cinderella story upset for the Wildcats to try and pull off the win tomorrow; they will have to play perfect
I'm going to disagree with you on DH beating UAA. DH got up big in the second, but UAA made it respectable by halftime and then had a helluva third quarter to take the lead going into the fourth. Fourth quarter went back to DH where they kept a 2-3 possession lead until UAA made one last furious comeback to lose by only 2. Either way, DH is a very good team, but I think UAA is a top 15, maybe even top 10 type of program myself.

CWU had second and third quarter leads when they played DH in November. They had it within three possessions multiple times in the fourth quarter before losing by 12. Clearly DH is one of the best in the nation, but when the "Big 3" are rolling (Sunny Huerta, Capri Sims, Asher Cai) with consistent help from the 4-7 players, I think we're a top 20 team, and based on the bracket, we're a top 16 team. Odds are with DH to make the Elite 8 and probably Final 4, but...........LET'S GO WILDCATS!

At the DH-CWU game right now. Wildcats are really having a tough time breaking this press

It's 18-7 Dominguez Hills, and you could credibly argue that both of Central's first two baskets should've been waived off for shot clock violations

They in fact reviewed and took away one of the two baskets during the quarter break

Well, Cal State DH is legit and that's no surprise. I was just more hopeful the game would be similar to when CWU kept it within 2-3 possessions until late in the game when they played in November.

But no matter what, an outstanding season for the Wildcats. Tied for second in GNAC, third national tournament bid in the past 4 years. First time in the Sweet 16. We lose all-time leading scorer Sunny Huerta to graduation, but bring back 4 starters. Huerta was the floor general though. Those will be difficult shoes to fill.

Can't cough up that many turnovers and get beat that bad in the paint. CSUDH is a serious contender. But still a fantastic season for CWU going from a 3 seed and 1st round exit in the GNAC Tournament to a Sweet Sixteen. Huerta had an incredible career and while I think Coronado can step into a larger role next year, they still may want to target a transfer.

Dominguez Hills men win a nail biter over Point Loma. Point Loma hosted and had more than 1100 at the regional final. That's a good showing of fans, although you'd like to see more. Dominguez Hills women hosted it's final win over CWU and less than 400 attended. I know men will always out draw women's teams, but you'd like to see more, however, I'm sure just a handful of CWU supporters made the 3 hour flight down.

Either way, CSU-DH is looking great right now as they're both in the Elite 8. Congrats to both programs.

Well Dominguez Hills women play Grand Valley in the championship. Dominguez Hills men are in the Final 4 and play tonight. That AD must be feeling good right now. Wondering if the AD is flying in between both tourney sites since they play on opposite days. Great basketball in the west. Wish it was CWU, but good season for both Wildcat teams.

Both Dominguez Hills teams place second. That's a pretty good winter however for that school.
