Well, signing day is quickly coming up and in recent years some of the Conference Carolina schools have been very successful in both the recruitment of high quality high school players and transfers from different divisions.

UNC Pembroke's QB Tre Robinson has announced that he will be transferring to South Carolina State for the 2026 season. Tre has 2 years of eligibility left.

With Tre's departure, the Braves have added a talented transfer QB Brice Koontz from Murray State / Bluefield State.

Just found out that Barton managed to land a QB that I thought for sure would be picked up by a D1 school, Geronimo Sanchez of Cape Fear High School in Fayetteville NC. Well done!

UNC-Pembrook signed Charlotte speedster RB LJ 'Smooth' Watson, a dynamic player with jets. He should be teaming up with Hope Mills, NC's Rashad Dockery in the backfield to give the Braves a really strong running game for 2026.

I understand that a number of key players were redshirted last year in preparation of this coming season.

Rashad Dockery rushes for 8 TDs against GCHS, ties NC high school record. South View star also rushed for a school record 320 yards and now has 1,293 for the season.

My ole Braves buddy is also excited about the Wellington Florida QB gunslinger Caleb Butler coming on board. He was also recruited / offered by WKU and FIU.
