I do disagree with you about Manning. He did a good job for the Broncos, even though the last season he was far from 100%. I was very glad when he retired.

Elway did try to draft a decent QB but his efforts were laughable.

Why do you disagree about Manning? An aberration is doin' somethin' that wasn't expected. And he did. No one thought he could come back from his neck injury but he did. Took the Broncos to the SB.

With as much flack as AB has gotten in recent months, he may have done something correctly to better himself. He's re-enrolled at Central Michigan and is taking 4 300 level courses there. If he's able to get his degree, good for him. It appears he may have seen the writing on the wall enrolling before the Patriots released him.

Not sure how you can even get into a 300 level course with the vocabulary and spelling skills he shows in his texts. Then again, my ex graduated from college and can barely put a sentence together, so.....

Dallas though doesn't retire number usually, so it is legal there. NY Jets are the only other team to have 13 retired for Don Maynard.

I've been more shocked by how non-impactful the defense has been. No sacks and no turnovers through three weeks.
