      A little surprised to see Sacramento State receiving votes, especially with 5 Big Sky teams already in the top 25 and 2 in the Top 10. Glad FCS actually has a legit West Coast conference unlike D2 for football.

              I don't pay much attention to D1 but I am happy to see that 2 of the 3 non-P5 top 25 schools in both polls are from the Sun Belt.

                      San Jose State lost half of the starters from last seasons team to graduation. A Bay Area sportswriter has them going 7-5 on the low end this season and 9-3 on the high end. I have them going 8-4. Good enough for a pretty good bowl game. But I doubt they'll go back to the MWC championship game. Go Spartans!

                          #9 FCS Montana beat #20 FBS Washington. I wonder how much Montana will move up after that win in the FCS polls and will they receive FBS votes like Appalachian State did after they beat Michigan? Montana had 3 interceptions in the game.

                            Ndsu also got votes back in the Wentz days I remember.
