I believe Williams and Junior get drafted for sure. I snuck Gutierrez in the draft because I like his upside and his tape was so much better than I expected. Flowers, Webb, Young, Kohou, and Bell are all names I could see getting drafted. I would say we see at least 2 drafted and could potentially see up to 5 total.

I know I don't post on here as much as I use to and honestly just been behind on end of year database work. My twitter is @Joshbdraft if any of you want to follow me. If you have questions though my email is set to notify me if you reply so I will come respond to any questions here or there if you have them.

I can share a post draft update for you, Josh. I usually only follow the draft for lower divisions anyway.

FA signings are usually harder to track down than draft results, but I can share those too when I find them.

Hoping to see Gutierrez get his name called. MSU really needs the boost.

Did you evaluate OG Justin Calderon of Chadron State? I saw him on at least one prospect list and he had a pro day at University of Nebraska, but I don't know how he compared with the others.

He actually tested solid and I do think he will get a tryout. He is a prospect but I was just listing the top names on my list. He was 6031, 321, and ran a 5.20 40. He also had a 1.94 10, 25 VJ, 8'8 BJ, 4.75 SS, 8.00 3-cone, and did 22 reps of 225.

I remember from the season that CB Anthony Blue out of Newberry was talked about as a potential NFL guy. Haven't heard anything since, but worth keeping tabs on.

He got arrested after the season and I removed him from my list because I don't expect him to get a contract. He was a solid PFA with a shot to go late prior to the off the field incident.

No D2 guys taken in round one (obviously), but here are the FCS picks:

NO - #19 Trevor Penning, OL Northern Iowa
                    NE - #29 Cole Strange, G UT-Chattanooga

I thought I heard there were 3 picks, but unless I'm completely blind, I only saw the two.

Two former D2 guys I'm watching - though I think UDFA is the most likely path:

Gabe Watson, RB University of Sioux Falls (transferred to Texas)

-As much as I like Gabe, I think this one is a long shot. I don't blame him for jumping to Texas during COVID, but hindsight being 20/20, I don't think it worked the way he'd hoped. Saw very limited action - and not necessarily because he wasn't talented, but the Longhorns were stacked at running back. Still, he worked very hard in the offseason and showed at Texas's Pro Day

Michael Griffin, S Southwest Minnesota State University (transferred to South Dakota State University)

-Played great for SMSU while he was there. Obviously destined for bigger things and transferred to SDSU to finish his NCAA career. Made waves at SDSU's pro day for his vertical. While I wouldn't consider him a draft pick/UDFA out of SMSU, it's still exciting to see a former player getting talked about.

I went through the NFL's list of prospects - these are the D2 guys listed, all on Josh's list. In the order the NFL has them listed by grade:

                      Dallis Flowers, CB PSU 5.69
                      Dareke Young, WR Lenoir-Rhyne 5.68
                      D'Anthony Bell, SAF UWF N/A

So far here are the D2 results

Kansas City Chiefs, 135 overall, 4th round- CB Josh Williams Fayetteville State- Projected 5th early 6th but thought he had a shot in 4th.

Jacksonville Jaguars, 197 overall, 6th round- Greg Junior, Ouachita Baptist- Projected in 7th and he goes in 6th.

New England Patriots, 200 overall, 6th round- DT Sam Roberts, NW Missouri State- Projected PFA but I probably should have gone higher on him. Scheme versatile and can play all over the DL, big, strong, and fast. His tape is good. He had a dominant senior year.

Seattle Seahawks, 233 overall, 7th round, WR Dareke Young, Lenoir-Rhyne- Hurt for much of the year so was not sure if he would get picked but high upside guy with traits who is versatile and was dominant at times when given a chance.

Arizona Cardinals, 244 overall, 7th round- CB Chris Matthew, Valdosta State- Transfer from GSU and Samford with HWS and ball skills. I thought he might go undrafted but this is a good pick for round 7 as a big corner with speed and ball skills.

                            My top UDFAs
                            CB Dallis Flowers, Pitt State
                            CB Sam Webb, Missouri Western
                            OT Sebastian Gutierrez, Minot State
                            CB Kader Kohou, Commerce
                            S D'Anthony Bell, West Florida
                            WR L.C. Gallimore, Valdosta State

This is a strong group and I think every one of these guys has a shot to make a NFL roster.
