In the latest installment of "polls don't matter", GV loses a first place vote this week. They lose it two days after dismantling a ranked playoff team on the road by 42 points (their fourth win over a playoff team), to a team that has played a single game against a playoff team the entire year. LOL...yeah, I'm sure the coaches are the ones actually doing the voting.

There are some odd placements. I find CSM BELOW NWMS a bit of a miss. Ashland is the 12 best in the country? Hmm. Since I don't vote, I suppose I shouldn't throw stones, but it is an opinion poll after all. Also, it's got to hurt a few teams that are ranked that didn't make the PO's. The polls aren't perfect but neither are the criteria.

3 teams in SR3 are ranked in the top 25 and does not make the 28 team playoff. Something just doesn't seem right about that.
