One I heard in regards to a possible NFL qb draft pick..... A quarterback having the ability to "throw a receiver open", I have heard that phrase before watching football games. Like I mentioned earlier in this thread as not often being annoyed by cliches , I don't mind this one either. It gives a pretty good image of a qb having the ability to throw passes into spots on the field that only a receiver, often covered, can get to.
