Some players are holding off (or decommitting) on their transfer decisions based on Coach Belichick's new NFL / NCAA Gateway program he's putting in place at the University of North Carolina. In preparations, UNC just changed their NIL budget from 4 million to 20+ million. This could be a major game changer in D1 College Football.

I'm not a fan of the Tar Heels at all, but some friends of mine are and they're on cloud 9.Last edited by crixus; 12-13-2024, 02:27 PM.

Thinking be that Bellichick will find early success at UNC and use that to get back in the NFL. I think that's his hope too, but I don't think it will work out that way. Just a hunch.
I wonder of Pete Carroll is thinking of a return to the NCAA...

And Pete Carroll is 73 now, but he's the most energetic senior citizen I've ever seen. He's still getting paid by the Seahawks as an advisor, but I don't know if he's happy doing that? Being 64 myself, I'm all for people working as long as they want if they can still get the job done.
64? Do you fart dust?
I turn 65 next month...
