Tiffin will host St. Anselm on Oct. 6. I'm guessing this was the open date caused by Malone's dropping football.

ODU hasn't posted their full OOC schedule yet, but they're slated to play at Valdosta State Sept. 14 (Week 2).

So, ODU will start the season with games at Shepherd and at Valdosta State?

                      Ouch...

Nice to see Hillsdale pick up a home game against Concord. Hope more GMAC schools match bye weeks with MEC schools this fall now that Wheeling Jesuit isn't fielding a football team (late drop of program like Malone). Clearly the northeast conference will not play GMAC schools (outside of one game at Tiffin) so that doesn't leave much in the region to schedule with as the PSAC only plays non conference games in week one.

I haven't heard anything officially about Wheeling Jesuit not fielding a football team, or at least there's nothing on their website to indicate the program has been dropped (football is still posted as one of their sports as of April 2). Per the Wheeling (W.Va.) Intelligencer website article posted March 29:

Presuming Wheeling Jesuit fields a team in 2020, the MEC will have 12 teams, factoring the 2019 additions of Frostburg State and Wheeling Jesuit, the 2019 departures of Shepherd (PSAC) and UVA-Wise (SAC), and the 2020 addition of UNC-Pembroke as a football-only affiliate (UNC-P will be in the final year of their "scheduling alliance" with the SAC). Thus, the bye week appears to be because there will be 11 football teams in the MEC in 2019 and, as far as we know, not because of Wheeling Jesuit dropping football.

Tiffin and Walsh have published their schedules in case you want to them to the first box. Tiffin added a NE10 team while Walsh picked up West Liberty recently. AB still hasn't published their schedule and ODU still only has nine games listed.
