Seeing as the search firm announced they are going to have "listening sessions" on campus in early January, I wouldn't hold my breath for a "Christmas present."

    • Well Boat , you can shine the helmets and wash the jock straps now since another successful season is over. Hilltoppers finished with one of their better seasons of late, with a record of 4-7. Same as last season so they may have stabilized. Of the four teams they outslugged, their total records were 7 wins and 37 losses. I guess it's back to the California JUCO's to replenish the talent they are losing. Can't wait until next summer to hear how the team is jelling and really looking good in practice. The new guys are blending in good and with limited injuries they should be in the mix. Enjoy basketball season!

Looking forward to a "QB Rotation" like we did with Crow and LaGarde. Maybe we can get one of our few .500+ seasons??

Says he's received several offers including a Power 5 school in Virginia Tech. Also offers from Central Michigan, Tarleton State, Albany, Sacred Heart and Samford. Might be better suited as a safety at upper levels, depending on scheme. Excellent ball skills and instincts.

                  • Only 7 signees announced so far. Two good players from the OVAC but they let a lot of talent go elsewhere. Wheeling picked up quite a few OVAC kids
